If you enjoy horror, Cube is a low budget cult classic definitely worth watching. David Hewlett acted in Cube and has now directed Debug, a sci-fi horror movie.

Six hackers have to salvage a derelict spaceship, but it is of course not as straightforward as that sounds, as the ship’s AI unit turns out to not be a very happy chappie.

Well, it is not the worst movie ever. But if does fail as a horror. It is simply not very scary… The  plot is not great but the acting is ok, the visuals and SFX are pretty good, the movie takes some claustrophobic cues from Cube, but overall the feel of the film is quite clinical. More suited for documentary / drama than horror. It leaves the viewer as an observer and you never really get into it – and without immersion, horror is not very scary…

Just watch Cube instead.
