Overview
Jacq Vaucan, an insurance agent of ROC robotics corporation, routinely investigates the case of manipulating a robot. What he discovers will have profound consequences for the future of humanity.
Set in a dystopian future, this is the story of an insurance investigator looking into whether robots have been tempered with, by others or even by themselves.
This movie borrows (heavily) from Blade Runner, I Robot, and District 9 amongst others, and it starts out quite promising.
But in the end, the plot is too shallow, and so are the characters; the acting is weak and the ending is disappointing.
Give it a miss, unless you are a hardcore scifi fan…
