Trailer

This Canadian movie comes straight from the Twilight Zone. It has an intriguing concept to kick things off. A man has been in a car accident but he cannot remember anything – not even his name. As he wanders the roads he finds dead and dying people and animals in his path. Wondering why he isn’t affected by what he assumes to be some kind of virus, he soon figures out the shocking cause of the deaths. As he hides out in a shed, a woman comes looking for him; she suffers the same amnesia, but together they start to piece the puzzle back together.

Many of these type of movies with a Twilight Zone concept falter halfway through as there isn’t enough there to stretch the story out to a feature length film. Luckily, Radius offers more than the initial concept alone. The movie is mostly a slow burn, yet the pacing is good, and there are enough layers, puzzle pieces and twists to keep you engaged throughout. Actually, the final twist doesn’t quite get enough time to simmer… If it had, it would have delivered a more powerful punch.

Not a movie one will remember in years to come, yet one with enough on offer for those interested in a bit of mystery.
