This low budget horror stars Gillian Anderson as a former scream-queen star of a hit horror film that spawned a long series of sequels. A young female film maker is hired to relaunch the franchise, and she decides to start by tracking down the star of the first film in the series. Ms Anderson's character now lives on an abandoned theme park where the original theme was filmed. A complex relationship develops between the director and the now middle-aged actress, and it turns out that the supernatural menace in the movie may not just be a mere movie creation. This film is stylish and the acting is excellent. It is worth your time.
